    About Activity :

    After the successful execution of the Ashwath Prakalpa-2008, Ashwath CDAC ATC is launching its second version Ashwath Prakapla-2009 with widen approach and elevated level. It is a Software Project Competition in which a group of students can participate. The Participant group along with its guide can conceptualize and build a Software Project/Product using any generally adopted /accepted software or technology on either MS-windows or Linux platforms/operating systems.


    Eligibility :

    A group of 2 to 4 students from any recognized college under any regular or deemed University. The group should be from BE across all branches for engineering colleges, from TY for BCA/BCS & MCA/MBA(IT) colleges.


    Prizes :

            First Prize :
                    Rs.25,000/- [Project Group:Rs.20,000 and Guide:Rs.5,000 with a Trophy and Certificate for the college and Merit Certificates to all participants and guide]

            Second Prize :
                    Rs.15,000/- [Project Group:Rs.12,000 and Guide:Rs.3,000 with a Trophy and Certificate for the college and Merit Certificates to all participants and guide]

            Third Prize :
                    Rs.10,000/- [Project Group:Rs.8,000 and Guide:Rs.2000 with a Trophy and Certificate for the college and Merit Certificates to all participants and guide.]


    Stages :

  • Registration and Submission of Synopsis: : Date :(03/08/2009 - 18/09/2009 )
                    A duly filled registration from with complete details and project synopsis in the prescribed format along with the Registration Fees of Rs. 500/- (Cash or DD Drawn on Ashwath Computers payable at Solapur) should be delivered by courier or in person at project office of Ashwath.
  • Interview and Orientation Seminar : Date :(20/09/2009 - 24/09/2009 )
                    Project Groups will be interviewed on the basis of synopsis they have submitted and their aspirations will be evaluated in terms of the real time applicability. An Orientation Seminar on Project Building by academics, project guides and industry experts shall be arranged for those students who have submitted their projects for the competition.
  • Progress Report-1 : Date :(20/10/2009 - 20/11/2009 )
                    As per the guidelines provided in the orientation seminar students need to start the project building.The status of completeion needs to be sent in the form of Progress Report-1.
  • Progress Report-2 : Date :(02/01/2010 - 15/01/2010 )
                    After consideration of the remarks given by judges for progress report-1,students have to submit the second progress report.
  • Submission of Project Report : Date :(07/02/2010 - 28/02/2010 )
                    The participant group has to submit a fully completed working model of the software project in CD/DVD media along with printed Project Report in hard bound. The media should include the source code along with the detailed installation/execution procedure and frameworks or IDEs required for software execution.All the above mentioned should be delivered by hand or by post/courier at the project office of Ashwath.
  • Final presentation : Date :(14/03/2010 - 14/03/2010 )
                    10 project groups shall be short listed and shall be called for Final Presentation on Saturday, 23rd January, 2010. After the evaluation of the projects by the panel of judges, all the participants shall be informed about the result.

  • Rules & Regulation :

    1. Each participant group is allowed to submit only one project and any student shall not be allowed to participate from more than one group for the competition. 2. Every Participant student must pass the eligibility criteria of the competition. 3. The registered entry cannot be cancelled or transferred to other group in any condition and no refund request shall be entertained. 4. Every participant group should register and submit the registration form along with Synopsis on or before the last date of submission. 5. Preliminary round selection shall be as per above mentioned evaluation process of the judges panel. 6. Selected participant group will move to final round after successful completion of preliminary round. 7. Violation of any of the rules above shall result in cancellation of registration of the entire participation group. 8. The decision of the judges and event head shall be treated as final and binding on all. 9. The organizers reserve the rights to change any or all of the above rules as they feel appropriate. 10. The organizers reserve the rights to change/modify or cancel the part of entire event/completion at any stage of activity.
