Ashwath Reflections 2009 is a unique competition to inspire the talent inside you for becoming a Corporate Professional in the Soft Skills area. The competition specifically aims at students from all the educational streams who aim to make it big in the Corporate World. It is a Personality Development Competition in which a student can participate and will go through the various rounds of the competition to prove his talent in front of the Judges and emerge as a winner.

A student who is 10+2 of any stream from any recognized college under Solapur or any other Deemed University or can also be an engineering diploma student pursuing last year is eligible to enter as a participant in this competition.

        Round 1: Introduction & Elocution :
                A Merit Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 1,000.00/- for the winner.

        Round 2: Extempore :
                A Merit Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 1,000.00/- for the winner.

        Round 3: Writing Skills :
                A Merit Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 1,000.00/- for the winner.

        Round 4: General Knowledge & Vocabulary :
                A Merit Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 1,000.00/- for the winner.

        Round 5: Case Studies :
                A Merit Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 1,000.00/- for the winner.

        1st Runner-up of the competition :
                A Merit Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 3,000.00/-

        2nd Runner-up of the competition :
                A Merit Certificate and Cash Prize of Rs. 2,000.00/-

        Winner of the competition :
                A Merit Certificate & cash prize of Rs. 5,000.00/- for the winner & Trophy for the college

Round 1: Introduction & Elocution : Date :(31/10/2009 - 02/11/2009 )
                In this round the Participant has to introduce himself/herself in an innovative and creative way to the Judges. Following this would be an Elocution round in which the Participant will be allotted a topic in advance, on which he/she needs to prepare and present it to the Judges.

Round 2: Extempore : Date :(19/12/2009 - 20/12/2009 )
                In this round the participant would be allotted a topic on the spot and he/she needs to present the topic to the Judges.

Round 3: Writing Skills : Date :(21/12/2009 - 22/12/2009 )
                In this round the participant will have to write an essay on any one of the given topics. The length of the essay should be not less or more than 300 words, which should be written in a clean and legible handwriting.

Round 4: General Knowledge & Vocabulary : Date :(23/12/2009 - 24/12/2009 )
                In this round the participant's general knowledge and vocabulary would be tested. The participants shall be required to appear for a written test paper on GK and vocabulary.

Round 5: Case Studies : Date :(15/01/2010 - 16/01/2010 )
                In this round the participant will have to solve certain hypothetical case studies with his imagination power and intelligence. If required to enact the case study, human resource shall be provided to the participant.

Round 6: Talent & Personality : Date :(12/02/2010 - 14/02/2010 )
                This would be the Final round where the Finalists will be judged on the basis of their journey so far in all the above rounds and the Talent and Personality they present in the finale. Here the participants are expected to exhibit and perform their best talent. The questions in this round shall entirely depend on the panel of judges.

1. All participants should be present on the day of Final Round.
2. Only the selected participants will move to the next round.
3. Judges shall award marks out of 100 for each round to each participant.
4. The total competition shall be of 500 marks and the successful 10 participants entering the last round of Talent and Personality will be treated at par and their performance in this round shall be decisive in their journey of winning the competition.
5. Judges shall evaluate on the basis of above criteria and shall declare the results.
6. The result of the Judges shall be final and binding upon all the participants.
7. The decision of awards is solely of the panel of judges. The organizers are in no way concerned with the evaluation system. Any disputes/grievances regarding the result process shall be resolved with the judges and on the same day only. No complaints after that day shall be entertained.
8. All communication amongst the organizers, participants and the judges shall only be through our web system and emails and if required through mobile phones only. No print/post communication shall be done in this regard.
9. Each participant is allowed to submit only one Abstract.
10. Maximum 3 (three) students from each college shall be allowed as participants to this competition.
11. The participant shall only be considered eligible on the submission of the abstract form with the registration form duly signed and sealed as required along with the registration fees before the last date of submission.
12. Each student if selected should participate in all the rounds to reach the Finale.
13. Each round will be conducted as per the declared time table only and it is binding on each participant to appear in the round on the prescribed day, failing to which the participant shall be eliminated from the further competition.
14. Every participant must comprise to the eligibility criteria of the competition.
15. All the rounds will be as per the above mentioned evaluation process of the judges panel.
16. Selected participant will move to the next round after successful completion of the earlier round.
17. Violation of any of the above rules shall result in cancellation of the registration of the participant.
18. The decision of the judges and project coordinator shall be treated as final and binding on all.
19. The organizers reserve the rights to change/modify or cancel the part or entire event/competition at any stage of the activity.
